FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH
Church in Pakistan:
In Pakistan Christians are relegated to very low paying jobs including things like cleaning sewers and working in brick kilns. Missions in Pakistan are sharing the Gospel with many debt-enslaved families in the brick kilns. They are distributing food, paying off debts and giving them business opportunities to secure their long-term freedom.
Join us at One Body: Hope for the Persecuted to hear from our speaker, Mike Brinkley, Chief Executive Officer of Families Set Free and their mission to rescue and rehabilitate Christians desperately stuck in one of the 20K slave camps in Pakistan.
- Pray for justice, protection and, the Lord’s provision for the thousands forced into slavery in the brick kilns.
- Pray for protection for Christians falsely accused of blasphemy and for those trying to overturn these anti-blasphemy laws. Pray for the release of the many Christians still in prison on blasphemy charges.
Church in China:
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has taken over all the so-called patriotic churches, compelling the attendees to worship President XI instead of God, using a rewritten “Bible” and “patriotic” songs instead of hymns. The CCP demolishes crosses atop churches and regularly shuts down churches not in full compliance. Pastors from house churches who preach the real gospel are arrested and imprisoned for many years, sometimes in re-education camps, where they are brain-washed against Christianity.
Hear more about the Church in China from our speaker, Bob Fu, Founder of China Aid at One Body: Hope for the Persecuted.
- Pray for comfort and strength for our Chinese brothers and sisters who are often beaten, cold and homeless in the winter because of their house church activities.
- Pray for the thousands of men in Chinese “re-education” that they will know of God’s presence and feel his comfort. Pray for their family’s provision while they are gone.
