Let my prayer be counted as incense before you,
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!
Psalm 141:2
Thank you for continuing to pray with us for our global partners and the world. And thank you for sharing these prayer requests with your church family so that others may pray.

GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- This year seems to be a transition year from the challenges of the pandemic. We see a lot of anxiety among the people as the cost of living is getting higher each time amid the unemployment. Pray for the peace of our nation. There seems to be a pocket of protest against the current government as people think the government should be there to respond to their needs.
- We thank God for the progress on the radio house project. Please continue to pray that it is completed and that the radio station is rolled out by the blessing of God. We offer praises that we are now able to broadcast online each day 6PM to 8AM Malawi time and all day Saturday and Sunday. Click here to tune in.
- As a transitional year we have not set up activities but are taking the day as it comes. I have not even set up for confirmations because of the uncertainty that comes with the pandemic. Please pray with us that perhaps after Easter we will see the way for new activities.
- Freshwater Project International provides clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene facilities in Malawi. Pray for the developing partnership between the Mzuzu Rotary and Freshwater to assist St Peter’s Hospital on Likoma. Click Here for More.
La Gran Familia (LGF) from Barbara Hautanen:
- Pray for the poorest families in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, who suffer from cold, hunger and lack of work. We pray for God's provision for the Church to be able to help meet their needs and bring them into the Kingdom.
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to renew the strength of the caregivers who care for the children of La Gran Familia de Gregory.
- Pray for an end to this time of the pandemic so that all the children may return to school.
Myanmar from Bishop David Nyi Nyi Naing in Diocese of Mandalay:
- Myanmar continues to suffer from crises, from COVID surges, to political instability. The Anglican Church, led by the Most Rev. Stephen Than Myint Oo, continues to work diligently to serve the people of Myanmar, meeting their needs with tangible acts of compassion. Pray for God's protection and provision for the Church. Pray for doors to be opened for the spread of the Gospel.
- The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) has a $10K matching grant for food and Covid relief funding in Myanmar. Pray for generous givers and for the Church in Myanmar as they respond to the physical needs of the people. Click Here for More
- Continue to pray for protection for Bishop David and for guidance and discernment in the formation of the new diocese in Homelin.

FOR THE PERSECUTED
Church in Pakistan:
- On January 30, Pastor William Siraj (from the Church of Pakistan) was murdered by gunmen in Peshawar, Pakistan. He was returning home from Sunday worship. Pray for comfort for Pastor Siraj's family. Pray for the government and officials of Pakistan to heed the pleas for protection and justice for all Christians and other minority groups. Click Here for More
Church in Afghanistan:
- Afghanistan just replaced North Korea as the world’s most dangerous place to be a Christian, according to the persecution watchdog, Open Doors. Afghanistan is the second-fastest-growing church in the world. Pray for the Lord to protect Afghan Christians, and pray the underground church will survive. Click Here for More
- Afghani refugee families in North Texas are finding help despite strained resources. According to the White House, more than 4,400 Afghan refugees plan to resettle in Texas. Continue to pray for the Lord to raise up many of our churches to respond to the need of these refugees.

OFFERING THANKSGIVING
- We offer thanksgiving for Stacy and Jerry Kramer with Love for the Least for their powerful visit to our diocese this past week. May God continue to inspire His Church to make disciples who make disciples. We pray God’s continued protection and anointing on the Kramers as they inspire and equip many for mission.
