From the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great
among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered
to my name, and a pure offering.
For my name will be great among the nations,
says the LORD of hosts.
Malachi 1:11

GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- We pray for the success of all our plans this year. Plans by different guilds like Mothers Union, Daughters of the King, Sunday School, St. Veronica, and the youth. That through them the Diocese will remain active and strong.
- We pray for our preparations for the upcoming provincial assessment team that will discern the potential impact of a decision to create another diocese from within our diocese. May we walk in the will of God and not our will. Please join Bishop Fanuel and the diocese as they pray for guidance and wisdom for the assessment team and for unity and peace among the diocese.
From the World Mission Committee:
Father Bob and Traci Gresser, SAMS missionaries are preparing to go to Malawi at the end of the month. The Gressers will be serving the Church in Malawi to help guarantee its future by training quality priests and lay leaders. They will be serving at Leonard Kamungu Theological College in Zombia.
- Pray for the Lord to orchestrate all the logistical things that are necessary to move a family with three children into the mission field.
- Pray for continued good health for all the family.
- Pray for their son, Peter who will remain in the US to attend college.
David Nyi Nyi Naing in Diocese of Mandalay:
The Anglican Church in Myanmar became an independent Province of the Anglican Communion in 1970 and now numbers six dioceses and three missionary dioceses. The country continues under the military coup and recent reports are that violence has increased in the rural areas.
- Pray for protection and provision for Bishop David and all the clergy and their families. Pray for their limited resources, that all their physical needs will be met. Pray God's continued anointing upon each bishop and clergy in the province as they minister to the people.
- Pray for wisdom and endurance for Archbishop Stephen as he continues to lead the province and chair the Council of Churches in Myanmar during this time of increase violence. Pray for the growth of the Church and that the Gospel will continue to spread.
- Pray God's protection for the thousands of innocent people living in these areas of ongoing conflict. May the Prince of Peace rein in Myanmar.

HOPE DURING WAR
Anglican Relief and Development (ARDF) on Ukraine
It has been over 600 days since Russia fully invaded Ukraine. As Ukrainian men and women fight on, our partners tell us of increasing discouragement and a sense of hopelessness as people wonder when the war will end. Our partners share Christ’s presence with the discouraged Ukrainian people through their own presence as they minister to their physical needs. We can minister to them also by being present with them in prayer.

- Please pray for peace, both physical and political but also spiritual and emotional.
- Pray against discouragement and that Christ’s presence would be unmistakable in the midst of His people.
Fr Kevin and Jen Cable in Israel:
As we enter the fourth month of the Israel-Hamas war, CMJ - Israel continues to minister to the displaced and unemployed. Nevertheless Jen Cable writes, "Less staff in needed here on a daily basis, as many of the displaced people we accommodated have now found more permanent accommodation. After much prayer and discernment we intend to return to live in Jaffa on the 3rd of February. We have a waiting list of young families who want to come to the toddler group ‘Little Lambs’ when it restarts, and many of our congregation will be returning to Israel in February. We offer thanksgiving for our protection and provision during this time of war."
- Please pray for restarting the ministry in Jaffa and discerning the Lord’s priorities there. Pray for the encouragement of Church in Jaffa to restart "Little Lambs" and to meet again.
- Pray for guidance and wisdom for the staff at CMJ-Israel as they continue to seek ways to serve the people in Israel during this great time of need. May they be a light in this present darkness.
- Pray for the government and IDF leadership as they make decisions for the way forward. Pray for a ceasefire and the release of all the hostages in Gaza.
