INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH - NOVEMBER 6
and throughout the month of November
Please pray with us, as we join Christians around the world in global prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters who boldly witness for Christ at any cost. These courageous believers continue to forgive their persecutors and to hold fast to their faith in Christ.
- Pray that their ministry activities will remain undetected by the authorities or others who wish to silence them (Acts 9:25).
- Pray that they will feel God's comfort when their family members are killed, injured or imprisoned for their witness (2 Cor. 1:3-5).

GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- The Youth and Renewal leadership in the DNM is planning a Happening on November 11-13 in the Karonga Archdeaconry. May the Lord pour His blessings and provision upon this gathering. May the Holy Spirit transform the lives of the youth attending from St Timothy, St Ambrose, Kaporo and St Mary’s, Chilumba.
- In addition to the Youth and Renewal activities, we thank God for the successful conference by the Mothers Union done last week on Likoma Island. As traveling to Likoma is not easy but all went well. We pray now for the conference by the DOK to be done this month end on Chizumulu Island.
- We continue to pray for the radio station to be a tool for evangelization beyond the confine of denomination as we are reaching out to more than Anglican members.
La Gran Familia (LGF) from Barbara Hautanen:
- In September some of the children suffered from mosquito bites, infections, and accidents. Pray for all those who have been ill and praise God for the medical treatment now available for them through LGF.
- The children and youth of LGF are taught to love and respect their country. Join them in prayer that Mexico will continue to strive to become a great nation.
- LGF is the number one children’s home in the State of Chihuahua! Join us in thanksgiving for all the donors from the US and the generous businesses in Mexico who continue to bless them with financial support and with their time, talent, and presence.
Myanmar from Bishop David Nyi Nyi Naing in Diocese of Mandalay:
- As the great civil unrest continues please keep Archbishop Stephen and Bishop David in your prayers as they lead the Anglican Church's response to the needs of the people. On a bright note, the war is uniting people across tribal and ethnic divides. Pray for this to continue to help the advance of the Gospel in Myanmar. May they be sustained by our prayers.
- The Burma Army continues their attack in Karen State where the majority are Christian. Over 24,000 people in Karen State have fled to the jungle for safety. Please pray for God’s deliverance, for peace and for all the families, widowed and orphans. Click Here for More

FOR THE PERSECUTED AND
SUFFERING CHURCH
Church in Nigeria:
- In Nigeria, hundreds of schoolchildren have been kidnapped. A majority of those captured by Boko Haram jihadists are young women and girls taken and trafficked as sex slaves who endure horrendous abuse and mistreatment. Please pray for protection of Nigeria’s Christians, justice to be done and for deliverance for those enslaved.
Church in Pakistan:
- In Karachi a Christian family was accosted by Muslim neighbors who burned their Bibles and assaulted their daughter. When the Christians reported it to the police, the Muslims were given favor and allowed to escape. Pray for this family and all the Christians in the neighborhood. Pray that these Christians will sense God's presence. (Hebrews 13:5)
- The people of Pakistan continue to struggle with the recent floods which have effected one third of the country. This has resulted in loss of fields, crops and harvest. It has also brought disease, snakes, viruses and infections. Pray for strength and provision for the Church in Pakistan as they minister to the people. Pray for a world response to the great needs of the people.
