I
INTERNATIONAL DAYS OF PRAYER
FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH
Please pray with us this month as we join Christians around the world in global prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters who boldly witness for Christ at any cost.
Lord of Glory, King of Kings, Mighty God, Lover of our Souls,
Your children are suffering terribly today all over the world for following Jesus. You see every single wound given verbally and physically. You hear every heart cry for help. And You are present in every situation bringing comfort and deliverance. Strengthen Your servants so they can bear up under their sorrow. May their persecutors who are walking in darkness be confronted by the brightness of Your light shining through those who suffer in Your name. May we all remain faithful to pay any price to follow You fully. We pray this in the Name Above All Names, Jesus Christ. Amen.

GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- We are doing well and the Covid-19 situation as a disease is being contained to the single digits. Please pray for the economical aspect which is a challenge as prices of necessary commodities have gone up considerably.
- Continue to pray for Fr. Kennedy Chilowa's wife, Veronica and his family as they mourn his death. May Fr. Kennedy and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
- We still put our prayers to God to enable us finish the radio station project by December. Our target was that we can be on air on FM frequency by December. The online can only reach the few people who are able to access the internet. The online broadcasst are from 8PM to Midnight Malawi time which is Noon to 4PM CST. Click here to tune in.
La Gran Familia (LGF) from Barbara Hautanen:
- Please pray for complete healing and pain management for Jorge Gardea who broke his ankle while playing soccer.
- Pray for renewed strength in Luz, Luisa, Lalo, Karely, Diego and Martin as they care for the children that live at La Gran Familia.
- Continue to pray for safety and security for all who live and work at LGF. May the violence, neglect and abuse that is found in Mexico subside.
Myanmar from Bishop David Nyi Nyi Naing in Diocese of Mandalay:
- By the grace of God, my family and dioceses are doing well, but some places are still difficult. Our political situation is still worse and we need much prayer.
- Please pray for the more than 100K refugees who have run away from their homes because of the civil war.
- Please pray for the more than 20 churches that have been damaged by the military.
- Please pray for the Holmelin Archdeaconry and our Diocesan Council on November 19 and 20.

FOR THE PERSECUTED
Church in Nigeria:
- During a worship service, a group of gunmen stormed the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kakau Daji, killing one believer and kidnapping over 100 worshippers. Please pray for the release of these church members and that the Lord will use this situation to bring a breakthrough in this continuing lawlessness in Nigeria.
- The Open Doors World Watch List reports that this year Nigeria moved from #12 to #9. More Christians are killed for their faith in Jesus in Nigeria than in any other country. Boko Haram and Fulani radicals kill Christians and destroy their villages with impunity. Since the Nigerian government will not hold the murderers accountable, the global community must pressure Nigeria. Click here for more
Church in Afghanistan:
- Pray that Afghan Christians be concealed from the Taliban and that there would be confusion over the Taliban's communication regarding Christian individuals and groups.
- A new wave of refugees has begun to come from Afghanistan to us here in America. Pray for God’s protection and provision over them in their journeys. Pray for the Church's response to their need. Pray for trauma healing especially for the children.

OFFERING THANKSGIVING
- We rejoice with the Sisters of St Mary for the final vows of Sister Esther Nyirenda and the junior promises of Sister Alinafe Magawa to be said on November 20th. May they receive abundant blessings as they continue to serve the Lord in Malawi.
- We offer thanksgiving for our churches' love response to the Afghani Refugees who are being resettled in North Texas. We praise the Lord that He has raised up agencies in our area to help our churches respond to this recent crisis.
