Joyous Eastertide
Thank you for continuing to intercede with us for God’s world and especially the Global Church where it ministers to the people during persecution, civil unrest and war.
As we, like Abraham, stand with the Lord and look upon His world, we are transformed. As we draw close to the brokenness in our world, we lament but we have hope. We are a people of the Resurrection!
And our prayers sustain the suffering Church. We continue to hear “Thank you for walking with us through this evil that is assaulting our people.” and “God is working miracles through your prayers”.
Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Psalm 141:2
Blessings,

GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- We thank God for the continuing work on the radio house project. We hope to complete the studio room and the control room in the next few days then we will be working on the installation of the transmitter. Please continue to pray for the time when we will be broadcasting the Word of God live.
- We would like to thank God for the progress made in the printing house. The electricity has been installed and now work has resumed. Pray that this diocesan income generating business will stay strong and continue to bring provision for the DNM.
- We are now hearing from the British intelligence that terrorists may be targeting Malawi. We are not sure where these will come from and for what reason. We just pray that it will not come to pass. Please pray with us for God’s protection against all evil for the people of Malawi.
La Gran Familia (LGF) from Barbara Hautanen:
- We are excited to report that a team from San Juan Apostal is planning a summer mission to LGF to host a VBS. Pray for Father Ordonez and his parish leadership as they train and prepare for their time in Cuauhtémoc. Pray that the team and the LGF children will have life changing experiences through working and playing together and sharing stories of Jesus Christ!
- Luis came to La Gran Familia when he was 8 years old after the police found him abandoned and living on the street. He is now 13 and he enjoys sports, riding bikes, and helping the younger kids with their studies. We offer thanksgiving for Luis and all the children who now have their home at LGF. Pray that they continue to love and serve the Lord
- It has been our tradition each year to sponsor a diocesan wide Mother's Day Ingathering to benefit La Gran Familia. This year’s ingathering will go toward the purchase a van. We offer thanksgiving for this beautiful way to honor or remember the special women in our lives while supporting the ministry of LGF. Pray for a good engagement from our churches and a successful ingathering. Click Here for More.

FOR THE PERSECUTED AND
SUFFERING CHURCH
Church in Sri Lanka:
- We are hearing from Bishop Dhiloraj Canagasbey about the severe economic crisis in Sri Lanka. Due to food, fuel, medicine, and electricity becoming increasingly scarce, there is a mood of desperation across the country that has resulted in thousands gathering in a large civilian uprising, asking for the resignation of their president. Bishop Dhilo writes, “Please pray for a peaceful turnover of the government and that the Lord will save the thousands of young people protesting before the President’s office from military massacre.” Pray for the Church in Sri Lanka and especially Bishop Dhilo as they respond to the people’s great need. May the Prince of Peace reign in Sri Lanka. Click Here for More
Church in Nigeria:
- There has been a new wave of Christian killings in the Plateau state of Northern Nigeria. There are recent reports of 142 Christians killed. Pray that the persecuted believers will know of God’s presence and be strengthened through the prayers of fellow believers. May the Lord sustain them in their suffering.

10 DAYS OF PRAYER
FOR UKRAINE
Ten Days of Prayer for Ukraine are being encouraged by Franklin Graham, whose Samaritan's Purse charity has been active in relief efforts since the Russian invasion of that country.
Graham writes. “From Good Friday, April 15, through Orthodox Easter on Sunday, April 24, I am asking the Church worldwide to pray for the people of Ukraine and pray that God will work in the hearts of leaders and intervene to bring an end to the fighting. I have written to the presidents of both countries to ask for a ceasefire starting during Holy Week .” Click Here for More.
The Anglican Relief and Development Fund continues to invite donations for its own war relief effort, which is being conducted with partner agencies. (Scroll down on their page for details.) Please consider helping today by clicking here.
